RFRI BAMBUSETUM



RFRI Bambusetum was established in the year 2002 owing to the inspiration of Dr. K.G. Prasad, Ex Director, RFRI and tireless efforts of Dr. K.C.Pathak, Scientist-C, SFM Division. Occupying an area of about 1 hectare, at present, it houses 39 species of bamboo, the green gold under 13 generic heads. Of these special mention can be made of the exotic, endangered, rare and ornamentals collected from different regions of the Indian sub-continent .
